REIMS | Embroidery on wood initiation workshop

Would you like to make your own embroidery on wood illustration or text on a wooden sheet or learning this technique?

Bring your own design or quote and embroider your personalized creation!

Mylène will guide you step by step, and no prior knowledge of embroidery is required for this workshop. Illustrations will be available if you don't have any embroidery ideas.

For those bringing their own designs or texts, here are the conditions: the drawing should consist of lines only (no filling) and fit within a maximum size of 15 x 15 cm (unless you decide to use a 15 x 30 cm or 30 x 30 cm format, see the INFO paragraph at the bottom of this description). The drawing/text should be printed on a sheet of paper, and it is also possible to draw/write it on the day of the workshop.

If the embroidery is not completed during the workshop, Mylène will provide you with advice and tools to finish it at home :)

No prerequisites, everything is provided. There will be a wide selection of embroidery threads available, and you will choose the type of wood that resonates with you by feeling it in your hands (Maple, Oak, Cherry, Walnut, etc.).

Maximum of 6 participants, aged 10 and above. Materials will be provided.

INFO: If you would like to embroider on a wooden sheet of a different size, you can add €10 on the day of the workshop for a 15 x 30 cm format or €20 for a 30 x 30 cm format.
