Invited to the Palace of Versailles for the Fairespectives Festival!

I have the honor of being invited to the Festival Fairespectives organized by Campus Versailles, highlighting artisans and heritage professionals committed to ecological transition. This event will take place on November 17th and 18th, 2023, in the Grande Ecurie du Roi on the grounds of the Palace of Versailles.

For the occasion, I will be leading a collaborative marquetry workshop over the two days. It's a great first for me, and I'm excited to see the creation we will build together! Contribute to the making of a large marquetry surface using recycled wood veneer, which I will later incorporate into socially engaged projects.

I will also exhibit the 44 Major Arcana of the Ex-Libris Tarot in wood marquetry, along with the first Minor Arcana that I have just completed. Here's a (not-so-secret) secret: I would love to finish the entire Ex-Libris Tarot Deck by 2024, comprising 78 Tarot cards x 2 marquetry designs, with a total of 156 marquetry pieces. 2024, the year of challenges is approaching!

You will also discover my 12 marquetry interpretations inspired by the Art Nouveau paintings of the Scottish artist Frances Macdonald Macnair, as well as a version of my Medusa Collection featuring 24-carat gold leaf. I'll provide a live demonstration of one of the marquetry techniques I use, along with other surprises. Stay tuned!

Other talented professionals will also be present for roundtable discussions, exhibitions, conferences, storytelling sessions, collaborative workshops, including:

Hugues Jacquet, sociologist and historian
